Heroes of the Vosges Museum

We are seeking donations to allow us to get this project underway. The City of Bruyères, like many rural communities, has lost most of its tax base as foreign competition closed almost all the wood products and textile manufacturers in the region.

The museum itself may well serve as an economic benefit to the City but in the short-term, organizing the museum effort by first locating a secure suitable space, gathering, itemizing, and transporting artifacts creates a financial burden that the city is unprepared to address. All donated funds will be applied to the museum effort and no expenses, salary or other compensation will be accepted by the volunteers working on the project.
